Let me introduce myself
Who am I?
Hi there! I'm the guy you can see on the menu. Well, kinda.. I'm not really so pixelated in real life. I'm a year-old Belgian guy who loves fiddling around with any computer-related stuff.
Born in the 90s, technology has always been around me, but it actually took quite some time for me to jump on the computer train.
I only started playing with code a few months before entering university and I now graduated in Computer Science from the Institut Paul Lambin in Brussels.
Besides English, I also speak French (which is my mother tongue) and Dutch (even though mostly written).
What are my toys?
Even though my academic education was mostly made around Java, I love playing around with everything I can put my hands on. I tend to try new things as often as I get the chance, even though I usually come back to what I know best.
Here is what I can handle :
Nice, but what languages do I really use?
As said before, I mostly learnt Java, but my projects are made using a variety of languages. Here is a little summary (always up-to-date thanks to Github's API) of the languages used on my projects hosted on Github:
What are my interests?
Besides programming and computer in general, I also have other interests such as
- I love to visit cities, see new landscapes and learn about the history of my surroundings
- I love festivals and simply listening to music by myself or with friends. I'm very open and listen to anything that sounds good to me, be it hip-hop, rap, rock, metal, jazz...
- My latest hobby, even though I'm not so good at it so far, I like to search and find caches. It's entertaining and really rewarding once found.
- I recently signed with a futsal team made up of friends. Being a goalie is difficult, but a good game is really rewarding.
